Hair Loss
Many of us experience a hair loss during our time and yet have no
idea what causes them. In turn, we all try all sort of products
without any results; more often than not, all those products even worsen
the situation of our hair condition. We have to understand the
delicate nature of hair follicles and the precision of the hair cycle in
order to remedy the hair condition. Trial and error will not help
and will do more damage to majority of hair follicles.
Human being goes through a process called regeneration. Every
living cell in our body gets worn and gets replaced at a certain time
interval. So does our hair. At normal condition, hair falls
will not cause any thinning and will not change the density at all.
As a matter of fact, every human being is allowed to have 100 pieces of
hair loss daily and still considered a normal amount. Why?
Because there are approximately 390 thousands other follicles are on the
anagen (growing) phase covering the head.
However, when follicles are attracting DHT hormone to attach, the
anagen phase will be affected badly and causes each hair shaft to
prematurely shed. This condition is called Androgenetic Alopecia
syndrome. Androgenetic Alopecia syndrome occurs to more than 75%
of the men population worldwide and almost 30% of the women population.
In men, Androgenetic Alopecia occurs when the body needs to get rid off
the excess Testosterone and yet the secretion process unable to complete
the process and make the DHT circulates int he system. Women do
not produce Testosterone hormone, yet their body may have the retention
ability to it. This acquired Testosterone also needs to be
secreted via the normal secretion method. 30% of women population
is unable to process the secretion naturally and thus the DHT circulates
in the system ruining the normal hair cycle.
How to determine whether it is an Androgenetic Alopecia ?
Androgenetic Alopecia is, actually, the easiest form of alopecia to
pinpoint. If you are a man or a woman above 18 years of age and
experience the following symptoms, you are 100% positive of having an
Androgenetic Alopecia syndrome,
- Increase of hair loss and notably on the thinner hair (vellus
hair)
- Increase of sebum on scalp, oily scalp and hair
- Gradual thinning on some part of scalp, usually occurs on
hairline, widows peak, crown and vertex
- Decrease in hair volume, hair gets thinner and the color becomes
lighter than normal
- Decrease in hair density, scalp begins showing under the sun
and/or bright light
If you experience those symptoms, you have to act quickly before the
DHT gets more sporadic and starts affecting the healthy follicles.
If you do not embark upon the right remedy, DHT level will escalate
rapidly due to the cohesion between proteins and subsequently affects
more follicles.
